138th Canton Fair: FAW Jiefang Demonstrates China’s Commercial Vehicle Strength

From October 15 to 19, the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was grandly held in Guangzhou. With the theme of "Creating Wealth, Driving the Future", FAW Jiefang made a high-profile appearance with its star products – J7 tractor, JH6 dump truck and Hu 6G pure electric light truck. It showcased to global partners China’s leading capabilities in high-end manufacturing, green low-carbon and intelligent connectivity in the commercial vehicle sector. The booth was crowded with visitors and the negotiation atmosphere was lively, fully demonstrating the extraordinary charm of "Made in China" and the international influence of the Jiefang brand.

At this Canton Fair, FAW Jiefang’s booth became one of the focal points. The booth design integrated technological and international elements, vividly interpreting Jiefang’s core concept of empowering global logistics. Since the opening, it has attracted merchants from various regions and countries around the world, including Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe. The on-site natural visitor flow remained at a high level, with nearly 1,000 person-times received in total, and over 600 potential customers conducting in-depth negotiations, covering logistics companies, large fleet operators and regional distributors.

The three main models displayed by FAW Jiefang this time have their own characteristics, accurately meeting the needs of different segmented markets.

The J7 tractor sets new standards for high-end, safety and comfort. Equipped with a 580PS high-horsepower engine and a 3.545 small-speed-ratio rear axle, it is specially designed for efficient trunk-line logistics.
The JH6 dump truck targets the heavy-duty engineering construction market with its strong load-bearing capacity and reliability. It has excellent climbing ability and adaptability to complex road conditions. Configurations such as a 10-inch screen and 4-way camera significantly improve operational safety.
As a pure electric light truck, the Hu 6G is a masterpiece responding to the global zero-carbon logistics trend. It is equipped with a 96.2kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a high-efficiency battery liquid cooling system, ensuring stable range performance.

In addition to mass-produced models, FAW Jiefang also displayed an innovative achievement jointly developed with its strategic partner Shell – the Xingyu Concept Hybrid Truck. This model integrates a number of cutting-edge technologies, depicting a blueprint for energy conservation and carbon reduction of future commercial vehicles. Its supporting intelligent power domain (H-Power Domain) adopts a P2 configuration hybrid system, combined with intelligent energy management and waste heat recovery technology, achieving a significant reduction in fuel consumption. Through the "bullet-shaped" cab and integrated tractor-trailer drag reduction kit, the drag coefficient is as low as 0.24. Equipped with L2-level intelligent driving, electronic rearview mirrors and predictive cruise control system, it achieves dual improvements in energy efficiency and safety. The application of low-rolling-resistance tires, solar panels on the trailer roof and low-friction lubrication technology taps into energy-saving potential in an all-round way.
